Desktop/Printer Technician
We are currently seeking a skilled technician with the ability and experience to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair PCs, printers and other peripherals on-site at multiple client locations in Boston and Northeastern Massachusetts. Candidate will be responsible for the following duties: call customers when paged from RetroFit's Call Management Center; travel from customer to customer responding to service calls; troubleshoot, order parts and repair desktops, printers and other peripherals; update Call Management Center on status of calls. The ideal candidate must be a detail-oriented, motivated and energetic professional with excellent communication and customer service skills. Candidate must also have a vehicle, valid driver's license and a good driving record. Ideal candidate must have the following qualifications:
- Desktop hardware troubleshooting and repair (1-2 years experience)
- Printer hardware troubleshooting and repair (1-2 years experience)
- Server hardware experience (a plus)
- Desktop operating system troubleshooting and repair (XP, 2000, etc.)
- Symantec Ghost
- Certifications: minimum A+, OEM printer certification (i.e. HP, Lexmark, Xerox)

IT Sales/Professional Services Representative
RetroFit is seeking a high caliber professional with vision and ambition to join our successful sales team in Meriden, Connecticut. You will be selling to the corporate environment as well as state agencies and municipalities. You must possess an in-depth knowledge of IT operations and be able to communicate with IT people so that you can determine the scope of work and price a project accordingly. You must be willing to be held accountable to sales behaviors and goals. You must have a proven track record of success working in a small to medium sized firm. Ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven cold call experience
- Closing five figure deals regularly
- Must be able to handle rejection and have a try, try attitude
- Prospecting into small to medium size companies
- Hunting and selling to executive level decision makers
- Developing new accounts as well as managing existing accounts regularly
- Achieving earnings success in a commissioned sales environment
- Closing in two to three calls (maximum)
- Self-motivated while working in a team environment
- Excellent job-related references
